THIS IS IT! I have taken the plunge, delved through Google, siphoned through crazy quantities of info that is out there about ‘Becoming a Blogger’ and I finally have a website and some (?!) of the skills to hopefully make this happen. EXCITED!
There are many reasons for starting a blog. Mine are simple:
To reach out to as many people as possible and share the skills I have learnt as an Olympic athlete in a practical way that can be applied to everyday life.
If I can help even just one person feel happier, more fulfilled, laugh or feel inspired then it will be worth all the hard work.
I have thought long and hard about what I do as an athlete, how privileged I am and how I might be able inspire, help and give back to others. One quality I value a lot is ambition. Ambition can mean something different to each person. For me, I enjoy feeling challenged or living up to my own expectations; but another part of my ambition is to have an impact and help others to achieve their potential. This blog is part of how I want to do this.
I will be writing about so many things! From more serious topics related to motivation; sticking to your goals; what it is to be healthy; to sharing my journey of discovering a food intolerance and living with it as a very fussy eater; to stress free travel - hints, tips and tricks to saving money, time and energy when planning your holiday or trip abroad.
I will pass on as many discounts and savings that I possibly can from my partners and sponsors to my subscribers and friends, so please get involved and join me in my community of happy, healthy, kind living. This is about promoting being the best version of yourself as an individual and recognising that it is different for everyone.
Any comments, ideas or suggestions related to any of my blogs are really welcomed. I love learning new ideas and I am sure others will enjoy hearing your thoughts too.
